We offer an extensive English curriculum that spans Grades K-12, providing students with the necessary skills to become proficient readers, writers, and communicators. Our curriculum is thoughtfully designed to cater to the unique needs and learning styles of each student. With our experienced instructors and engaging teaching methods, we aim to foster a love for language and literature while developing critical thinking, communication, and literacy skills.

Kindergarten and Early Elementary (Grades K-2)

In the early elementary years, our English curriculum focuses on building strong foundational skills. Students will learn letter recognition, phonics, vocabulary development, and basic reading comprehension. We incorporate engaging reading materials to develop a love for reading and language.

Elementary (Grades 3-5)

Our elementary English curriculum expands upon the foundational skills and introduces students to more advanced language concepts. Students will work on reading fluency, comprehension, writing mechanics, grammar, and spelling. They will explore various genres of literature and practice writing essays and narratives.
We also help students prepare for EQAO provincial assessment in Grade 3.

Middle School (Grades 6-8)

In higher grades, our English curriculum delves deeper into language and literature. Students will enhance their reading comprehension, analysis, and interpretation skills. They will study a range of literary works, including fiction and non-fiction. Writing instruction will cover persuasive essays, creative writing, and grammar and editing skills.
We also help students prepare for EQAO provincial assessment in Grade 6.

High School (Grades 9-12)

We offer courses tailored to meet the challenging requirements of high school. Students will critically analyze complex texts, develop persuasive writing skills, engage in literary discussions, and expand their vocabulary and grammar proficiency.
We also help students prepare for the Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test (OSSLT) in Grade 10.
